*** 9/4/04 Small update in the action (filling the channel area with white color) In the previous action was "background" color. I didnt reallize that some PS user can setup this to a different one ***
This is an action for photo ageing. Photo must be larger than 200 px Should work well with Photoshop 6+. I wrote also tutorial, but it is in german. If you are interested, give me a note, and I will send it to you.
How to install the action:
1. Put the .ATN file from the zip in a directory of your choice. It does not need to be in the Photoshop directory.
2. Choose Load Actions from the Actions palette menu.
3. Select the action set file from die directory you saved it.
4. Click Load.
5. Play it.
Have fun!
J.
TIP! If you want to see all the steps in the action and learn something (actions are great learning tools), check the "step by step" or "pause for XXX sec" on the playback options. Commands within an action can be also toggled on or off, giving you the option to play each command or bypass recorded commands within the action during playback.

Yes, I had also a couple of error (well, a lot) It was the type of "The command "xxx" is currently not available" and "no pixels were selected" Im using a PS 7 CE
well, I dont think that PS7 CE (I saw this only in czech sites) is a full version of PS... and it may not have all the filters, thats why the error message. sorry dude! try to run it manual (eg klick "toggle dialog on" on the action) than you can make every step manual and see how does it work and which command is missing.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
